Rosetta Jean (Rageth) Hollister

Rosetta Jean Hollister, 72, of Mondovi, Wisconsin passed away on Wednesday, February 10th, 2021 at Mayo Clinic Health Systems in Eau Claire, WI surrounded by family.

Rosetta was born on August 10th, 1948 in Plum City, WI, the daughter of Florian and Ethel (Brunette) Rageth. She graduated school in Arkansaw, WI. After her education, she worked in the Twin Cities till marriage. She married Duane Hollister on March 30th, 1974 at Zion Lutheran Church in Mondovi, WI.

Along with her husband, they owned a dairy farm between Durand and Mondovi. She later worked outside of home at the Mondovi Lutheran Home, Mondovi Implement and Menards, to name a few. She also was elected as the Town of Albany Treasurer and later as Town Clerk for which she served for over 30 years.

Rosetta loved spending time with her girls and grandchildren. She was an active member of the Zion Lutheran Church.  Rosetta enjoyed playing Bingo, shopping, and playing cards. She was truly one of the kindest, most tender-hearted, and thoughtful people that you could have had the pleasure of knowing.

Survivors include her husband Duane Hollister, her four daughters Joy (Dan) Brantner of Eau Claire; Mary (Steven) Kahn of Stetsonville; Heidi Hollister of Eau Claire; Lori Hollister of Mondovi and four grandchildren, Jennifer Kahn (Mary), Mya Hollister (Lori); Lindsay Kahn (Mary) and Jacob Hollister (Heidi). She was preceded in death by her parents, Florian and Ethel Rageth.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 18, 2021 at Zion Lutheran Church in Mondovi with Pastor Scott Johnson officiating.  Visitation will be one hour prior to the service at church.  Interment will take place at German Valley Cemetery.
