Richard L. "Dick" Lokken, 75, of Eleva, died on Tuesday, November 25, 2008 at Luther Midelfort Oakridge Center in Osseo, WI.\nDick was born on May 28, 1933 to Truman and Mae (Higley) Lokken in the town of Pleasant Valley, rural Eleva.\nHe married Marlys Tollefson on July 14, 1956 at Eleva Lutheran Church. Dick worked at Doughboy Industries in Eleva for 18 years and was self employed at Dick's Pump Service for 30 years. He was a member of Eleva Lutheran Church, the Eleva Fire Dept and had served on the Eleva Village Board.\nDick enjoyed hunting and his Canadian fishing trips. He was an avid Eleva Strum Cardinals fan.\nHe is survived by his wife, Marlys of Eleva; three children, Mike (Carla) Lokken of Eleva, Roger Lokken of Eleva and Karen Lokken of Eau Claire; four grandchildren, Maggy Lokken, Brock Lokken, Jayme (Bob) Ellis and Lynnsi (Chad) Gullicksrud; three great grandchildren, Dominic Ellis and Madilyn and Garrett Gullicksrud; a stepsister, Hazel (Irving) Melcalf; three brothers in law, Palmer (Nancy) Tollefson, Clifford Tollefson and Robert ( Paulette) Tollefson; nieces, nephews and other relatives.\nDick was preceded in death by a daughter in law, Dawn Lokken; his parents; his stepfather, Earl Moore; and brothers in law, Clayton Tollefson and Arvid Cleasby.
