Paulette Joan (Fitch) Tollefson

Paulette (Fitch) Tollefson, age 75, passed away Thursday, January 13th, 2022 at her home.  She was born in Osseo, WI on May 15th, 1946, the daughter of Lloyd and Geneva (Thronson) Fitch.  She was the youngest of 4 children.  She graduated from Osseo Senior High School in 1964.  She married Robert Tollefson on November 13, 1965 and after 56 years, you still would find them holding hands.  They resided in Eleva all of their married life.  She worked for the Osseo Hospital, and for many years at Family Farms Inc.

Paulette was a member of the Eleva Lutheran church and a member of the American Legion Post 459 Auxiliary for many years where she made several friends and memories.  Her number one priority was her family.  She was the most selfless person putting everyone’s needs before her own.  Her mental and physical strength empowered us all with her fight against COPD and Diabetes.  She loved her children and grandchildren and enjoyed watching their sports, concerts, baking and hearing their stories.  Paulette enjoyed people in general and found a friend in everyone she met.

Paulette will be greatly missed and lovingly remembered by her husband, Robert Tollefson, 2 sons, Robert II (Otay) Tollefson, Eleva; WI and Anthony (Tony) Tollefson, Eleva, WI; 2 daughters, Pam (Steve) Jenson of Janesville, WI; and Sara Tollefson (Shane Esper) of Eleva, WI; 6 grandchildren: Trenton, Chayton, Caden, Avry, Mila and Kyson; many in-laws, nieces and nephews who were very special to her.  She was preceded in death by her parents, 2 brothers, Darrell Fitch and Michael Fitch and sister Barbara Evenson.  

Funeral services will be at 1:30 on Tuesday, January 18, 2022 at the Eleva Lutheran Church with Pastor Karen Ressel officiating. Visitation will be from noon until the time of services at the church.
