Kevin J Brantner

Kevin J. Brantner, 50, of Mondovi, passed away Tuesday, September 9, 2008 at Angel Space in Eau Claire, WI with his family at his side.\nHe was born on June 28, 1958 in Mondovi to Awald and Bernice (Hayden) Brantner. In 1976 he graduated from Mondovi High School. Kevin worked for Brantner Distributing and then from 1988 until the present time he worked for Hurlburt Heating and Plumbing as a sheet metal worker. Kevin enjoyed gardening, playing cards, taking his grandson, Kolyn, fishing and working in his garage on his cars and tractors.\nHe is survived by two children, April (Deric) Wolf of Menomonie, WI and Kevin (Malerie) Brantner of Mondovi; two grandsons, Kolyn and Zachary; his mother, Bernice of Eau Galle, WI; six brothers and sisters, Shirley (John) Smith of Eau Galle, Sandy (Bernie) Weiss of Mondovi, Cindy (Glen) Grisim of Northfield, MN, Dawn (Jim) Ulwelling of Eau Claire, Tom Brantner (special friend, Janet) of Mondovi and Jeff Brantner of Mondovi; nieces, nephews and other relatives.\nHe was preceded in death by his father, Awald; two brothers, Gary and David Brantner; and a sister in law, Bridgette Brantner.
