James Donald Emery

James Donald Emery,72, of Mondovi, died Friday, April 22, 2022 at Dove Healthcare West in Eau Claire, WI. He was born September 12, 1949 in Milwaukee, WI; son of Donald and Alvina (Wagnild) Emery.

He grew up in Elk Mound, WI and graduated from Elk Mound High School. Following high school, James joined the United States Marine Corp, where he made sergeant within a year and a half. He was a 50 year member of the American Legion.

James worked at Appliance Service Center in Eau Claire and was a truck driver.

He was an avid Packer, Brewer, Badger and Bucks fan. He enjoyed horse shoes, turkey hunting, cornhole, collecting memorabilia and antiques and was a Mopar enthusiast.

He is survived by his son, Beau (Carly) Emery of Brooklyn Park, MN; daughters, Tricia (Bryan) Anderson of Waterford, WI and Tina (Dana) King of Kaukauna, WI; five grandchildren, Lydia, Madelyn, Brady, Nicole (Kent), Rachel; three great-grandchildren, Joshua, Noah and Kara; sister, Ardelle Brown of Eau Claire, WI.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Donald and Alvina (Wagnild) Emery; and his special friend, Renee Bauer.

A Celebration of Life will be held at Buzz’s Bar & Grill in Mondovi on Saturday, June 4, 2022 from 2:00 pm- 6:00 pm.
