Daniel Wiltzius Obituary

Daniel Ray Wiltzius, 68, of Mondovi, WI passed away Thursday, February 22, 2024 at his home surrounded by his family. He was born September 25, 1955 in Sheboygan, WI; son of Charles and Lyrl (Horn) Wiltzius. He attended North High School in Sheboygan.

On June 21, 1980 he married Ruth Heule at the First Congregational Church in Sheboygan. They lived in Sheboygan where they raised their family until moving to Mondovi in 2010.

Daniel was a truck driver all of his life. He was a fan of the Green Bay Packers. He enjoyed fishing, shooting pool, and playing cards with his family. He also loved pulling pranks on his children and grandchildren.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; children, Bobbie (Luis) Corrales of West Olive, MI, Tammy Brantner of Durand, Thomas Wiltzius of Marshfield; nine grandchildren, Katlin, Kayla, Zachary, Alexis, Haley, Brooklynn, Austin, Emily and Leland; two brothers, Ed (Gina) Meyer and Jeff Meyer.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Charles and Lyrl (Horn) Wiltzuis; step-father, Ed Meyer Sr.; infant brother, Thomas; brothers, Bruce and Dennis; sisters, Sharon and Vicki.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
