Christine Janice (Brantner) Fedie

Christine Janice Fedie, 60, of Mondovi, WI passed away Sunday, January 9, 2022 at her home surrounded by her family. She was born March 14, 1961 in Durand, WI to Leonard and Rose (Kluge) Brantner.

She married her love, Allen Fedie, on May 24, 1980 at Central Lutheran Church in Mondovi and together they raised their 5 children on the family farm. They have spent the last 10 1/2 years raising their grandchildren, Julianna and Ayden.

In Christine’s words, she worked as - a farmer, a seasonal factory worker for a few years, a Medical Transcriptionist for 10 years, a waitress for a week lol, all combined over the years. Most importantly, the ongoing pleasure of being a mom of five for 35 years & counting and a grandma of eight beautiful kids.

Christine was a kind, patient, soft spoken person, who loved laughter, being goofy, singing, taking pictures of the sky, and spending time with her grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Allen of Mondovi; son, Allen (Treani) Fedie, Jr. of Mondovi, WI; daughters, Amy (Cody) Moy of Gilmanton, WI; Aryn Fedie (fiance’ Ben Polacek) of Waunakee, WI; and Lexi Fedie of Mondovi, WI; son-in-law, Tim Atchison (Melinda Pfeifer) of Cadott, WI; grandchildren, Julianna, Ayden, Jade, Rylie, Ashlynn, Grayce, Gavyn and Quinlan; siblings, Rebecca Duckworth, Charles (Nancy) Brantner, Jerome (Lynnae) Brantner, Donald (Rebecca) Brantner, Ronald (Kay) Brantner, Arnold Brantner, and Jodie (Jim) Ellenberger; brother-in-law, Randy Johnson; many nieces, nephews and other relatives.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Leonard and Rose (Kluge) Brantner; parents-in-law, Gene and Donna (Jackson) Fedie; daughter, Amanda Fedie-Atchison; sister, Shirley Johnson; brother-in-law, Robert Duckworth.
