Vivian E. (Badman) Pederson, age 99, of Eleva, WI passed away on Wednesday, July 22, 2015 at the Strum Area Health and Rehab. Vivian was born on October 8, 1915 in Eau Claire, WI to the late Merton and Carolyn (Zempel) Badman.
She attended and graduated from Eau Claire Senior High School and Eau Claire State Teachers College. Vivian married Obert Pederson on June 21, 1941, at Lake Street United Methodist Church in Eau Claire. They had six children.
She loved teaching and being a housewife she also liked gardening, square dancing, quilting and the bell choir. She was a member of the Eleva Lutheran Church and Big Creek Homemakers. Vivian was also known for her adventures in walking around town, winter, spring, summer and fall.
Survivors include her children; Nancy (Paul) Pokorney of Madison, Emily (Rick) Rose of Chandler, Ariz., Edith ( Terry) Fenske of Strum, James (special friend Peggy Johnson) Pederson of Osseo, Kristin (Patrick) Tuura of Eleva, and Arne (Hyon Ja) Pederson of Eleva ; 9 Grandchildren; 10 Great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by her husband Obert, grandson, Troy Fenske; sister, Millicent (Raymond) Tollefson.
A Funeral Service will be held at 11:00am, on Monday, July 27, 2015 at the Eleva Lutheran Church in Eleva with Pastor Robert Castro officiating. A visitation will be held at the church on Monday from 10:00am -11:00am. Burial will be in the Eleva Cemetery. Friends may also call at the church one hour prior to the service.
