Tamara Dee Nelson

Tamara Dee Nelson, age 55, of Arcadia, passed away on Sunday, June 30, 2019 at her home with her family by her side. She was born on August 19, 1963 in Kenosha to Bill H. and Pat Ann Nelson. Tamara grew up in the Eleva-Strum area and graduated from Eleva-Strum High School. She worked as a cook anywhere and everywhere. She raised three children: Cory John, Jamie William, and Kayla Ann. She loved being a grandmother and enjoyed doing anything and everything with her grandchildren. To them she will always be Nana. She also loved to go canoeing and spending time with family and friends. She will be deeply missed.
She is survived by her three children, Cory Hill of Altoona, Jamie (Katie Hoch) Hill of Eleva, and Kayla Knopps of Arcadia; eight grandchildren, Dominick Carvajal, David Carvajal, Jazmin Carvajal, Ava Knopps, Ila Hill, Rylie Loechler, Lizzy Hill, and Spencer Gerow; mother, Pat Nelson of Eleva; sister, Gena (Rod) Nelson of Sheboygan; three nephews, Nick (Emily), Alex, and Weston Nelson, all of Sheboygan; two great-nephews, Cooper and Knox Nelson; favorite uncle, Gary Nelson Eau Claire; and many relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her father, Bill H. Nelson; infant sister, Jamie Nelson; grandparents, Norman and Lillian Nelson; and aunt, June Nelson.
Memorial services will be held at 3:00 pm on Saturday, July 6, 2019 at Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home, Mondovi. Visitation will be from 12-3 pm. Private family burial will be held at a later date at Eleva Lutheran Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.kjentvet-smithfuneralhome.com.
