Ruth Reinhardt Obituary
Ruth Ellen Reinhardt (Keck), 80 of rural Mondovi passed away Monday, May 25, 2020 at American Lutheran Homes. Ruth was born November 19, 1939 in Meridean, Wisconsin to Archie and Ida Keck and was raised in Meridean. Ruth attended school in Meridean then later graduated in 1957 from Durand High School. Ruth moved to Eau Claire and worked at Huntsingers. She moved to St. Paul, Minnesota in 1959 where she met and married Dale Reinhardt February 10, 1962 at a church in Menomonie, Wisconsin. Ruth enjoyed camping, dancing, playing all kinds of card and board games and reading books. Ruth loved spending time with her family and friends. She also loved her animals, especially cats, one named Toby and many others.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Donna Reinhardt of Mondovi, four sons John Reinhardt of Minnesota, David Reinhardt of Stillwater, Minnesota, Paul Reinhardt of St. Paul, Minnesota and Dennis Reinhardt of Menomonie, Wisconsin. Also survived by special friends Dean and Tammy Ableidinger of Mondovi and Jason, Tanya, Makenna, Ali Rieck of Mondovi, Shirley and Ben Buchholtz of Mondovi, Eileen Buchholtz of Mondovi, sister Wilma Leslie and many other family and friends.
Ruth is preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother Donald, niece Diane McRoberts, nephews Dean, Dale and Doug McRoberts, brother-in-laws Daryl McRoberts and Merle Leslie, Nathan Reinhardt and sister-in-law Mary Reinhardt.
Graveside services will be 1:00 pm on Saturday, June 13, 2020 at the Peru Cemetery in Peru Township, Dunn County, WI with Gary Preston officiating.
The Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home has been entrusted with the final arrangements.
