Roger Lund Obituary
Roger Lund, 64, of Groveland, Florida, Passed away on Saturday, May 4, 2013 at South Lake Medical Center in Clermont, Florida. He Succumbed to Cardiac arrest. Roger Was Born October 30, 1948 in Mondovi, WI. he was the son of the late Arthur and Ruby (Nelson) Lund.
He was raised on the family farm in the town of Naples. He graduated forom Mondovi high School in 1966. Roger married Roxane Kizewski in Stevens Point, WI. They later divorced.
Roger attended the University of Wisconsin-Madison and the University of Wisconsin - Eau Claire where he graduated with a degree in Business Administration. He owned and operated a trailer manufacturing Business near Rock Falls, Wisconsin for several years. He was a licensed electrician and a certified welder.
Roger had many interests. He was an avid reader and had a passion for racing. He raced boats throughout the U.S and Canada. He was sponsored by Cirves Electric of Madison. Later he built and raced his own race car.
He is survived by his brother Richard (Sue) of Chaska, MN; and Sisters Jan Braune, Sandra (Preston) Smeltlzer, and Joann (Gary) Kucko all of Eau Claire, Wi. He is also survived by many Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Friends.
There will be a visitation Thursday, May 23, 2013 at Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home from 5 pm to 8 pm With a brief Celebration of life ceremony at 7 pm.
