Nancy R. (Kolden) Biegel, age 69, passed away on Sunday, December 8, 2013 in Fitchburg. After fighting a courageous battle, Nancy is now reunited with her husband David in Heaven watching over their loved ones. She was born on February 15, 1944 in Eau Claire, the daughter of Bennie and Harriet (Zimmerman) Kolden.
Nancy was a great mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend. She enjoyed traveling, spending time at the family cottage in Gordon, WI, serving as the president of the Marshall Historical Society, collecting chickens and Halloween and Christmas Villages. Nancy also enjoyed needle point and many other hobbies. She was a member of Holy Trinity Lutheran Church. Nancy grew up in Eleva, WI where she met David Biegel and they were married August 20, 1960.
Nancy is survived by her daughter, Keely; son, David Jr. (Ann Davison); granddaughter, Jessica; great-grandson, Jayce; brother, Barry Kolden; other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, David; brother, Billy and many aunts and uncles.
A visitation will be held on Wednesday, December 11, 2013 from 4:00 - 7:00 pm. at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church, 605 Madison St., in Marshall WI. Funeral Services will be held Friday December 13, 2013 at 11am at Eleva Lutheran Church in Eleva, WI Friends may call one hour prior to services at the Church. Burial will follow at Eleva Cemetery on Friday. Hart-Vick Funeral Home and Cremation service is assisting the family in Marshall, WI and Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home will be serving the family in Eleva.
