Lavonne Jean "Bonnie" Gifford, age 89, of Eleva, died on Tuesday, May 1, 2018. She was born on August 17, 1928 in the Town of Naples, Buffalo County, to Arthur and Margaret (Frendel) Gibson. She was united in marriage to Warren Kirkwood Gifford on June 22, 1946. Together, the couple welcomed six children. Warren died on June 15, 1993.
Bonnie is survived by her four children, Daniel Gifford, Vicki Holland, James Gifford, and John Gifford; seven grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren; and brother, Robert Gibson.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Warren Gifford; daughter, Kathleen Roth; son, Donald Gifford; parents; and two sons-in-law, Larry Holland and Jerry Roth.
Visitation will be from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home, Mondovi. Burial will follow at Oak Park Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at www.kjentvet-smithfuneralhome.com.
