Jerry G. Snodgrass, age 66 of Saginaw, MI (formerly of Westby, WI) passed away from complications during surgery on July 2, 2013 at St. John Macomb-Oakland Hospital in Madison Heights, MI with family by his side. He was born May 17, 1947 in Viroqua, WI the son of the late Hurlie and Jean (Sorenson) Snodgrass. On October 8, 1977 he married the love of his life, Kathleen Fedie in La Crosse, WI. Jerry was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin La Crosse, he worked for many years at HABCO in La Crosse and retired in 2009 as the Finance Director for the Saginaw Housing Commission. In his youth Jerry was a ski jumper at Westby Ski Hill. He loved to go boating on the Mississippi River and enjoyed listening to oldies music. He was a huge fan and proud shareholder of the Green Bay Packers. He loved spending time with his family and friends watching games and playing cards. He also enjoyed camping with family and traveling with his wife- his favorite destination was Las Vegas. Jerry is survived by his wife of 35 years Kathleen; two children, Sara (Bradley) Demijohn of Saginaw, MI and Jill Snodgrass of Philadelphia, PA; one grandchild, Lilly Kate Demijohn; two brothers, Daniel (Brenda) Snodgrass and Tim Snodgrass both of Westby, WI; two sisters, Ann (Dennis Miller) Snodgrass of LaFarge, WI and Kay (Kenneth) Bluske of Chaseburg, WI; many nieces and nephews. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday July 8, 2013, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Mondovi at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery. Friends may also call one hour prior to services at the church on Monday. Visitation will be held Sunday, July 7, 2013 from 4-7PM at Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home in Mondovi, WI. There will be a Scripture Wake on Sunday, July 7, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the funeral home in Mondovi, WI.
