James L. Tweet
James L. Tweet, age 69, of the Town of Pleasant Valley, WI passed away on Sunday, May 25, 2014 in Washington Twp. while riding his motorcycle. He was born on December 15, 1944 in Eau Claire, WI to the late Lawrence and Ruth (Stewart) Tweet. He worked at Uniroyal until it closed. He is a retired truck driver and Millwright worker.
He enjoyed his grandchildren and riding his motorcycle, camping, and traveling. His hobbies were welding, ice fishing, and blacksmith. He was also a member of the Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church and former member of the Cleghorn Lions Club.
He is survived by his wife Kathleen ( Kathy) Tweet, former wife Mary Haldorson, three sons; Michael ( Kathryn) Tweet of Oconomowoc, WI, Mark (Suzy) Tweet of Galesville, WI, Jason ( Jill ) Tweet of Pilot Mountain, NC. Six grandchildren; Joe, Alina, Lars, Gavin, Jake & Kaitlyn. Three Step Children; Joy (Steve) Glende, Charles ( Danille) Reid & James Fernholz. Step Grandchildren; Christopher & Ethan.
He was preceded in death by his father Lawrence in 1999, mother Ruth in 2012 & brother Steve in 1968.
Visitation will be held on Thursday May 29, 2014 at Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home in Eleva from 4-7 pm, and one hour prior to service on Friday from 10-11 am at the church. Funeral Service will be held on Friday May 30, 2014 at the Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church at 11:00 am. Burial will follow at the Pleasant Valley Lutheran Cemetery.
