Frank Risler Obituary
Frank "Jr" Risler Jr, 81, of Mondovi, WI. Passed away September 6, 2013 at the American Lutheran Home in Mondovi with his family by his side. Frank was born October 14, 1931 in Mondovi, WI the son of the late Frank and Eva (Laschinger) Risler SR.
Frank worked at the Mondovi Canning factory for many years. He loved hunting, fishing and gardening, he always had a big garden with beets, potatoes, radishes, and pickles.
Frank is survived by his two daughters Beth Gotter and SueAnn Lambert; 4 Grandchildren and 5 Great Grandchildren. Brothers and Sisters; Leona Washburn of Eau Claire WI, LaVern Risler of Eleva, WI, Eleanore Holthues of White Sulphur Springs, Mt, and Allen (Nancy) Risler of Mondovi, WI, Many Nieces and Nephews.
Frank was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Donald Risler and two sisters Helen Risler and Lois Strickhouser.
The Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 11, 2013, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Mondovi at 11:00AM. Interment will follow at Sacred Heart Catholic Cemetery.
Visitation will be held Tuesday September 10, 2013 from 4-7PM at Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home in Mondovi, WI.
There will be a Scripture Wake on Tuesday, September 10, 2013 at 7:00 pm at the funeral home in Mondovi, WI.
