David Lee Bloom

David Lee Bloom, age 67, of Mondovi, passed away on Monday, July 23, 2018 at Marshfield Medical Center. He was born in Mondovi, WI on December 9, 1950 and was the son of Lester and Darlene (Zenger) Bloom. David graduated from Eleva-Strum High School and was a farmer for most of his life until retiring to Strum, WI. David was a member of Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church. He enjoyed golfing, farming, watching old movies, classic country music, and reading. David will be remembered for his sense of humor and his jokes. He loved his grandchildren and spending time with his family.
David is survived by his two daughters, Carrie (Cory) Gustafson and Elizabeth (Kyle) Corriea; two grandchildren, Hazal and Colton; sister, Nancy (Rodney) Hanson; several aunts and uncles; and two nieces, Candice (Richy) Hann and Sally (Tom) McMahon.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Lester and Darlene Bloom; stepmother, Orvilla Bloom; and the mother of his children, Carolyn (Rindahl) Ryan.
Memorial services will be held at 11:00 am on Saturday, August 11, 2018 at Pleasant Valley Lutheran Church in rural Eleva with Pastor JonPaul Dragseth officiating. Visitation will be for one hour prior to the service. Lunch will follow the service. A private interment will be held at Oak Park Cemetery in Mondovi. Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home, Mondovi is assisting the family with arrangements.
