Gregory Allen Laehn

Gregory Allen Laehn, 72, of Mondovi, WI died Tuesday, April 23, 2024 at his home. He was born November 20, 1951 in Mondovi, WI; son of Jerome and Kathryn (Davis) Laehn.

 He attended Gilmanton High School. He also attended school for woodworking in Fox Lake.

On January 2, 1979 he married Lisa Heimbuch in North Platte, NE. They lived in Mondovi most of their married life. Greg worked as an over-the-road truck driver for many years.

Greg enjoyed spending time in the woods, picking mushrooms, digging for Ginseng, and picking berries. He also enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening.

He is survived by his wife, Lisa Laehn; children, Derek (Sandra Wendt) Laehn, William Laehn, Andrea McHenry, Aaron Laehn and Alisha Stockdale; “His Girls” granddaughters Cayleigh and Hannah and several other grandchildren; siblings, Ronnie (Virgene) Laehn, Patty Wood, Alice Mae Larson, Kathy (Dennis) Litchfield, Scott Laehn, Karla Ellenberger; his closest friend, Lewis Schultz as well as many other wonderful friends and relatives.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Jerome and Kathryn (Davis) Laehn; brother, Jerry Laehn; brother-in-law, Bill Wood; sister-in-law, Vickie Laehn; grandson, Brayden Laehn; nieces, Amy Jo Laehn, Darcy Wood; nephew, Darek Wood; and a great-niece, baby Sarah Wood.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 3:00 - 7:00 PM at the Island's Edge, S826 Hwy. 37, Mondovi, WI 54755
