Yvonne Hurtley Obituary
Yvonne Marlene Hurtley, 80 of Mondovi ,WI passed away Friday, October 28, 2016 at Care Partners Assisted living in Altoona, WI. She was born September 20, 1936 in Eau Claire, WI the daughter of the late Marion and Lillian (Raschke) Miller.
On October 9, 1954 she married the late Thomas Hurtley at Our Saviors Methodist Church in Mondovi, WI. Together Yvonne and Thomas owned and operated Tom's Auto Body in Mondovi until their retirement. She was a member of Our Saviors Methodist Church, and enjoyed her flower gardens, quilting and crafting. In their retirement they enjoyed winters in AZ.
Yvonne is survived by her three children John (Natalie) Hurtley of Plymouth, MN, Ruth ( Jeff) Hiemer of Mondovi, WI, and Christopher( Tracy ) Hurtley of Memphis, TN; Seven Grandchildren: Jessica and Jennifer Hurtley, Jordan Hiemer, Elizabeth Hurtley, Ryan Parr, Jared Hiemer and Joshlyn Hurtley; and 4 Great Grandchildren: Ava, Sophie, James and Jackson. She is also survived by her sister Beatrice (Jim) Mc Lellan; sisters-in- law: Lucille and Irma Miller and brother- in-law Dean (June) Hurtley and many nieces and nephews.
Yvonne was preceded in death by her husband of 56 years Thomas, her two sons Thomas Jr. and James; her brothers Bud and Eugene Miller and sisters- in- law Harriet Johnston and Mavis Moats.
Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, November 2, 2016 at 11:00 A.M.at Our Savior Methodist Church in Mondovi, WI. A visitation will be held Tuesday, November 1, 2016 from 4 - 7 P.M. at Kjentvet-Smith Funeral home in Mondovi, WI and also one hour prior to the funeral service.
