Theodore Seyer Obituary
Theodore (Ted) H. Seyer, 88 of Mondovi, WI passed away at his residence on Saturday, January 16, 2016. He was born in Gross-reken Germany on January 9, 1928 to Theodore and Clara (Denne) Seyer. They immigrated on the USS HANSA in 1936.
Theodore served in the Navy in the Pacific in WWII, he then joined the Navy Reserve for 37 years, he retired in 1984.
He married Nancy Lawrence on April 16, 1966 at the Holy Guardian Angel Church in Brackett, they have three daughters, Chris, Beth and Laura.
Theodore worked at Uniroyal for 38 years and retired in 1983. His passions were his girls the family farm, his grandchildren and animals.
Survivors include his wife of 49 years Nancy, children; Christine (Wayne) Schmitz, Elizabeth (Jason) Nibbe, Laura (Bruce) Mounts. Grandchildren; Ian Markham, Logan Markham, Isaac Mounts, Theodore Mounts and one sister Louise Orfe.
He is preceded in death by his parents, brother; Henery Seyer, sister; Elizabeth Taerude, brother-in-laws; Joe Orfe, Don Taerude, and his beloved dog Gomer.
A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, January 22, 2016 at 11:00am at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Mondovi. A visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church from 10:00am to 11:00am.
