Reginald "Reggie" Milton Peterson (73) of Strum, WI died Friday, July 29, 2016 at Mayo Health Systems in Eau Claire, WI. He was born January 4, 1943 in Eau Claire, WI; son of Milton and Loretta (Garson) Peterson.
Reggie married Marion Erdman. Together they had a daughter, Michelle. They lived in Bloomington, MN. He worked various jobs, including factory work at Armour. Marion died in 2003. Following retirement, he moved back to the Eleva and Strum area. On July 12, 2012 he married Karen (Franson) Quick in Whitehall. Reggie enjoyed hunting, fishing, gardening and spending time with friends.
He is survived by his wife, Karen Peterson of Eleva, WI; daughter, Michelle of Bloomington, MN; brother, Alan (Phyliss) Peterson of Eau Claire, WI; sister, Janet (John) Farmer of Dayly, CA; several nieces and nephews; brothers-in-law, Gene (Jeanne) Franson of Eau Claire, WI, Lavern (Liz) Franson, Dennis (Anita) Franson, Mike (Linda) Franson, all of Eleva, WI, Gordon (Maxine) Franson, Ronald (Charlotte) Franson and Merlyn Franson all of Strum, WI; sisters-in-law, Mary (Bill) Beaudette of Lindstrom, MN, Rhonda Franson of Onalaska, WI, Sandra Wathke of Eau Claire, WI.
He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Marion; sisters-in-law, Alverda Jacobson, Emily Franson and brother-in-law, Jerry Wathke.
