Jeffrey Scott Olson (52) of Eleva, WI died Thursday, January 2, 2014 at his home. He was born September 15, 1961 in Eau Claire, WI; son of the late Larry J. Olson and Jackie (Gary) Waitman. He attended Eleva-Strum High School. Jeff was a certified welder, currently working for Oium Well Drilling in Eleva, WI. He loved fishing, camping, and spending time with his dog, Jazz. Jeff was a one of a kind, happy go-lucky guy, who was always barefoot and had a smile on his face.

He is survived by his daughter, Jillian (Jamie) Hillestad of Eleva, WI; mother, Jackie (Gary) Waitman of Peoria, AZ; sisters, Mikki (Barry) Fjelstad of Strum, WI, Lesley Grant of Greeley, CO; brothers, Tim (Lauri) Olson of Eleva, WI, Eric Olson of Greeley, CO; several nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his father and grandparents.
