Duane D. Segerstrom

Duane D. Segerstrom (86) of Mondovi, WI went home to be with the Lord on Saturday, March 24, 2018 at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born March 10, 1932 in Mondovi; son of Rangnar and Margaret (Olson) Segerstrom. He graduated from Mondovi High School in 1950. On June 23, 1951 he married the love of his life, Rose Kisicki at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Eau Claire.
Duane farmed and was a salesman for Brave Harvestore in Menomonie for thirty years. While at Brave Harvestore he achieved top sales man for all of North America in 1980. He then was a seed corn salesman for over ten years until his retirement. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, fishing and hunting. Duane also enjoyed playing Dirty Clubs with the boys and taking fishing trips to Canada.
He was a wonderful husband, father and grandfather and will be greatly missed.

He is survived by his wife, Rose of Mondovi; children, Steve (Beth) Segerstrom of Mondovi, Jeff (Amy) Segerstrom of Mondovi, Tom (Rhonda) Segerstrom of Strum, Becky (Tim) Baumgart of Mondovi, Dennis (Sue) Segerstrom of St. Cloud, MN, Bill Novak of Mondovi; sixteen grandchildren, Matt, Chris, Cole, Sara, Amanda, Angela, Carolyn, Jeremiah, Kayla, Laura, Nick, Josh, Eric, Nicole, Derick, Dominick; thirty-one great-grandchildren; one great-great granddaughter; brother, Leroy (Karen) Segerstrom of North Carolina; many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Douglas; brothers, Ralph and Arlen; sisters, Lorraine Julson and Joyce LaDuke.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am Thursday, March 29, 2018 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Mondovi with Father Paul Bosco officiating. Burial will be in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Mondovi. Friends may call Wednesday, March 28, 2018 from 4:00 pm - 7:00 pm at Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home in Mondovi and one hour prior to services at the church on Thursday.
