Dean Richard Brian, age 51 of Strum, WI Passed away at Mayo Health Systems in Eau Claire on Monday, July 13, 2015. Dean was born on September 20, 1963 in Eau Claire, WI to Richard and Irene (Traaseth) Brian.
Dean graduated with the Class of 1982 from Eleva-Strum High School. He married Debra K. (Verity) Brian on July 18, 2005 in Whitehall, WI.
He worked at Nestle in Eau Claire for over 20 years. He was a proud member of the Union.
Dean loved fishing and staying at the cabin in Birchwood. He enjoyed the outdoors and spending time with family and friends.
Survivors include his wife of 10 years Debra, mother Irene, two children; Alyssa Brian of Janesville, WI and Amy (Dayton) Bennett of Beloit, WI, step-daughter Angela (Isaac) Asher of Mondovi, WI. Three sisters; Lou Ann Marsolek of Cudahy, WI, Judy (Dick) Owens of Strum, WI, Rhonda (Scott) Krueger of Strum, WI and sister-in-law Jean Brian of Eleva. Grandchildren; Justis of Mondovi, Jamison and Jaelyn of Mondovi and Onyx of Eau Claire.
Aunts, Uncles, and many nieces and nephews.
Dean is Preceded in death by his father Richard Brian, Brother Sigurd Brian, Brother-in-law William Marsolek and Granddaughter McKenna Johnson.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 17, 2015 from 4:00PM to 7:00PM at Kjentvet-Smith Funeral Home in Eleva.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, July 18, 2015, 11:00AM at the Eleva Lutheran Church with a one hour visit prior to services at the church with Pastor Robert Castro officiating. Interment private.
Dean's requests, "casual dress, jeans and flannel shirt are perfect".
