Peggy L. Davis

Peggy L. Davis, 69, of Strum, formerly of Eleva, passed away Saturday, January 14, 2012 at Crystal Lake Manor in Strum, WI.
She was born on January 23, 1942 in Eau Claire, WI to Dean and Margaret (Gibson) Davis. Peggy was a 1960 graduate of Eleva Strum Central High School. She married Lauren Felton in August, 1960. Peggy was a homemaker and cooked at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. Peggy was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crafting, cooking and was known to be a collector of salt and pepper sets, cookbooks and nativity sets.
She was a member of the Methodist Church.
She is survived by two sons, Lauren "Butch" (Anne) Felton, Jr. of Eleva and Terry (Karen) Felton of Strum; two grandchildren, Meghan (Thomas) Britton of Syracuse, NY and Brandon Felton of Ely, MN; a brother, Jack (Marilyn) Davis of Mission Viejo, CA; two nephews, Ryan Davis ( fiancee, Ryanne Prins) of Mission Viejo, CA and Derek Davis of San Francisco, CA; and other relatives.
Peggy was preceded in death by one daughter, Billi Jean Felton and by her parents;
Funeral services will be held on Friday, January 20, 2012 at 11:00 AM at Kjentvet - Smith Funeral Home in Mondovi with Rev Dale Engen officiating. Burial will be at the Oak Park Cemetery.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 19, 2012 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Kjentvet - Smith Funeral Home in Mondovi and for one hour preceding the funeral at the funeral home on Friday.
